Carol A. (Oakleaf) Boyd

Zephyrhills/Clifton Springs – Carol Ann (Oakleaf) Boyd, 77 entered eternal rest peacefully Friday, June 16, 2017 with her family by her side at the House of Johnin Clifton Springs after a long struggle with cancer.

     There will be no prior services. In memory of Carol, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a charity of choice.

     Carol was born on Monday, December 9, 1940 the daughter of the late Leon and Elizabeth Oakleaf. She was a graduate of Newark High School, class of 1958. Carol retired from the Phelps-Clifton Springs School District after 27 years as a school bus driver. Carol was a member of First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills in Florida. She was a member of Zephyrhills Elks Lodge # 2731, and was past Exalted Ruler for two years. An active member of her church she would travel to different countries with her group. She also loved to travel with her husband. She loved quilting and crafts as well. Carol loved the outdoors and camping was one of her favorite things to do. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

     Carol will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years Earnest L. Boyd; son Kenneth (Donna) Boyd; daughters Debbie Feiock, Lori (Robert) Ellsworth and Lisa (Michael) DeCook; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brother Donald (Debbie) Oakleaf; sisters Barbara (Roger) Bush and Jane Dox; many nieces and nephews.

     Carol was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Joanne Oakleaf.
