Newark - Wilson Augustave Jr., 17, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 24, 2024.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Woodlane Community Church, 5694 Wood Ln., Newark, NY 14513. Wilson's funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Woodlane Community Church. Private burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Wilson was born to Wilson and Monica (Williams) Augustave on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, in Geneva, NY. He recently completed his junior year at Newark High School. Wilson was a sensitive, kind, and generous individual with a deep love for music, whether he was listening to it or creating it himself. He cherished time spent with friends and enjoyed socializing. Family was very important to Wilson, and he loved being with his family, sharing jokes with his siblings, and showcasing his great sense of humor.

Wilson leaves mourning parents, Wilson and Monica (Williams) Augustave; his brothers Julian and Andrew Augustave; sisters Nicola Williams, Charlene Gonzalez, Julianie Augustave and Charmaine Louis; his paternal grandparents, Julianie (Luc Jonassaint) Augustave; his aunts Morgan Overstreet, Gina Overstreet, Etude St. Remy, Judith Felder, Latasha Freeney and LaQuita Freeney; uncles McArthur Overstreet and Leroy Williams; godfather, Floyd Russell; and many cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.

Wilson was predeceased by a sister, Renee M. Augustave; his maternal grandfather, Leroy Williams Sr.; and maternal grandmother, Jurlene Allen.
