Newark - William Mott Jr., 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Wayne County Nursing Home, surrounded by his family.

William was born the son of the late William and Alice (Holbrook) Mott on Sunday, January 4, 1942, in Groveland, NY. He spent his life in the area and worked for Duffy Motts in Williamson until he retired. William loved to tinker, fish, camp, and visit Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands with his family. William has been a member of the Palmyra Moose Club #1420 since 1989.
William will be remembered by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Jean Mott; children Veronica (Rick) Schoonerman and Lee (Lori) Kiehl; grandchildren LeAnne, Trevor, Cody, and Jacob; three great-grandchildren; brother, George (Nancy) Mott; cousin, Fred; several nieces and nephews.
William is predeceased by his siblings Ronald, Robert, Shirley, Rose, and Vicky.
