Lyons/Greece - Thelma L Hiscock, 86, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Unity Hospital.
All are invited to join the family at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023, at South Lyons Cemetery, Route 14 South Lyons, NY 14489 for Thelma's graveside service.

Thelma was born the daughter of the late David and Essie (Walker) Barnes on Friday, May 14, 1937, in Lyons, NY. She grew up in the Lyons area, graduating high school. As a young woman, she modeled in New York City. Thelma attended college, earned a bachelor's degree in nursing, worked for BOCES, and worked as a cosmetologist from home. She was passionate about volunteering for her church, the NAACP, or the local humane society. Thelma had many close friends and enjoyed spending time with them and her family.
Thelma will be remembered by her children Keith (Jogi "GiGi") Hiscock and Patty "Trish" Harling; her grandchildren Torrin Hiscock, Alex Harling and Andre Hiscock; a brother-in-law, Charles Childs; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Thelma was predeceased by her siblings David Barnes, Damon Barnes, Lillie Gladden and Alice Childs.
