Newark - Sheila R Mollenkopf, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19 2024, at the House of John.

Sheila was born on Monday, March 28, 1938, in Rotterdam, NY, to the late Miles and Celia (Fish) Landry. Sheila and Elmer settled Newark, NY, where they raised their family. Sheila cherished her family deeply, always ensuring they had everything they needed and loved every moment spent with them. Known for her kindness, she was always willing to help anyone in need. In her free time, she enjoyed a variety of crafts, solving puzzles, and was an avid reader.

Sheila will be remembered by her sons Randy Mollenkopf and Scott Mollenkopf; daughters Kim Mollenkopf and Holly (Joe) Precourt; her grandchildren Chad Schmitt, Bailey (Ben Simonse) Mollenkopf and Kennedy Mollenkopf; great-grandchildren Brinley, Braxton and Blake; adopted daughters Jennifer Roets and Karen Roth; a sister, Barbara Norbet; several nieces and nephews.

Sheila is predeceased by her husband of fifty-seven years, Elmer in 2019; a sister, Joan LeCours and a brother, Pat Mollenkopf.

In honor of Sheila's wishes there will be no services.
