Newark - Sharon Beman, 75, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital surrounded by her family.

In honor of Sharon's wishes a private graveside service will be held at East Newark Cemetery.

Sharon was born to the late George and Doris (Dickerson) Bauch on January 26, 1950, in Rochester, NY. She grew up in Henrietta and graduated from Rush-Henrietta High School. In 1967, she moved to Newark, where she built a career in retail, working for Ames, Big M, and spending 14 years at Fashion Bug. Sharon cherished time with her family, especially playing cards and board games. She found joy in spoiling her granddaughters, often using her Fashion Bug discount to treat them.

Sharon will be remembered by her husband of 56 years, Jim Beman; her children, Scott Beman and Amy (Tara) Bachman; her grandchildren, Cassie, Katie, Jacque, Courtney, Jessi, Mikhaela, Emily, and Nathan; six great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
