Palmyra - Paul A. McDonald, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 8, 2026.

Paul was born the son of the late Arthur and Helen (Lawrence) McDonald on Wednesday, October 26, 1955, in Rochester, NY. He grew up in Irondequoit and attended East Ridge High School. Paul spent his career working at several auto dealerships as a service department manager before retiring in 2020.

Paul had a passion for NASCAR, attending many races over the years, and even had the opportunity to drive a NASCAR race car. He was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching all types of sporting events.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-three years, Terry (Rhone) McDonald; his daughter, Marissa Balch; son, Chris McDonald; grandchildren, Kailyn Crawford, Carter Balch, Raegan McDonald, and CJ McDonald; siblings, Bonnie DiNicola and Arthur (Linda) McDonald; cousin, Sharon Borden; along with many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Paul will be held at a date and time to be announced.
