Newark - Patricia A. Cox, 45, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

The family will greet friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home Inc., 124 W. Miller Street, Newark, NY 14513. Patricia's graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023, at Newark Cemetery, North Main Street, Newark, NY.

Patricia was born the daughter of Charles Akers Sr. and Kathy (Deboard) Akers on Sunday, December 18, 1977, in Rochester, NY. She attended school in Rochester and Mexico, NY. Patricia was a kind soul with a tender heart. She enjoyed baking, making pizzas, and riding her bike.

Patricia will be remembered by her children Chelsey Akers, Stephanie Akers, Jeffrey Cox, Jessica Cox and Jeremy Akers; grandchildren Riley Akers, Ava Stevens, Silas Akers, Sariyah Akers, and Neveah Akers; mother, Kathy Akers; father, Charles (Carol) Akers Sr.; siblings Tammy (Thomas) Bean, Charles Akers Jr., Stella (John) Gouron, Micheal Akers, Ronnie Akers, Richard Akers, Craig (Frances Bristol) Chappell, Keith (Kimmie) Chappell, Christine (Tyler Clough) Chappell, James (Megan Holder) Hammer Jr., and Angela (Raven Kerfien) Centi.
