Pamela Ann DeBruyne
Rochester - Pamela Ann DeBruyne, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 2, 2023 at her home.
The family will greet friends 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Pamela's memorial service will follow calling hours at 1 p.m. with her burial in East Newark Cemetery, Vienna Street, Newark, NY. There will be a celebration of life at the Marion American Legion, 4141 Witherden Rd, Marion, NY 14505, after her burial.

Pamela was born the daughter of Richard DeBruyne and Diane Peters on Wednesday, May 22, 1968, in Rochester, NY and graduated from Marion High School in 1986 Pamela joined the Army after high school and served from 1986-1988 in Butzbach Germany and the Army reserves from 1989-1992. Pamela attended SUNY Morrisville and finished her bachelor's degree at SUNY Cortland. Pamela enjoyed traveling and experiencing the food, wine and beer from local establishments. Pamela was a die hard groupie of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. In her competitive nature Pamela enjoyed golfing, kayaking and barbecuing. Pamela loved others fiercely and unconditionally. Her passionate was spending time with family and friends. Pamela never met a stranger.
Pamela will be remembered by her mother, Diane Peters; sisters Kristen (Tom) Lothridge, Andrea (Scott) Simpson and Erin Grier; her nieces and nephews Chelsay Simpson, Janet Delgadillo, Savannah Simpson, Cameo Perry, Colby Perry, Carrighan Perry, Cassidy Perry, Aberdeen Grier and Ganson Grier; great-nephews Kaiden and Hudson; her cats Riley, Mocha, Mac, Sammy, and Miguel along with many feral cats in the neighborhood.
Pamela was predeceased by her father, Richard DeBruyne.
