Otto Craig Jandreau-Woodward
"We wept that one so lovely should have a life so brief." They always say the good die young because God needs a new angel, but the angel called home to God has truly devastated us.
Otto C. Jandreau-Woodward was taken unexpectedly on the morning of August 29th, leaving his family heartbroken. He was born July 17th, 2023, in Rochester, NY, but resided in Newark, NY, where he was surrounded by those who loved him the most. At only six weeks old, you could see his sweet personality through his brand-new smile or the love he clearly showed his mother. Everyone around him loved him so much, and we were excited to watch this beautiful boy grow into a sweet young man. From his first laugh to his first steps were all moments waiting to be cherished by his family. A young soul taken too soon, without enough time to experience the beautiful life he was given. His soul will be lived on through the hearts of his family. Rest in peace, Otto (Ottoman).
Otto is predeceased by his grandmother, Vicki Woodward.
His soul lives on through his parents Ashley Jandreau and Justin Woodward; his sisters Alexis Szymonek and Rowan Woodward; his brothers Dominic Davis, Jason Szymonek and Jaxson Jandreau-Woodward; along with his grandparents, Peter and Sylvia Jandreau and Craig Woodward; also his only niece, Dayah Szymonek.
There will be calling hours Friday September 15th, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, 124 W Miller St, Newark, NY 14513 and a Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 17th at Perkins Park, 311 1/2 Washington St., Newark, NY 14513 from 1 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, gifts for any of the surviving children would be greatly appreciated, as they are struggling with this tragedy.
