Martha was born the daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline (Colacino) DeMarco on Wednesday, February 4, 1931, in Newark, New York. Following her graduation from high school, Martha attended Cazenovia College and later the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in business. She dedicated much of her working life to healthcare, serving as an X-ray technician, first at Sampson Air Force Base and later at Walter Reed Hospital. Martha eventually returned to Newark to be closer to her family, where she worked at Newark Hospital. She later was employed as a buyer for Sibley's Department Store, with responsibilities that included work in Rochester and New York City. In addition, Martha was self-employed for a time, operating her own typing and word-processing business. In her free time, Martha enjoyed planting flowers and spending time outdoors. She was known for her kindness and warm nature and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Martha was predeceased by her husband, Owen Huober; and her siblings, Tommy (Rosalie) DeMarco, Joseph (Virginia) DeMarco, Frank J. (Midge) DeMarco, and Helen J. (August) Truini.
Martha will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
