Newark - Mark Brown, 57, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 1, 2024, Rochester General Hospital.

Mark was born on Saturday, April 23, 1966, in Newark, NY, the son of the late Lester and Laura (Buterbaugh) Brown. He spent his entire life in the area, where he attended Newark High School. Mark's passion for the outdoors led him to pursue a lawn care and maintenance career, where he meticulously attended to every detail and took great pride in his work. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling to various dirt tracks to spectate races and activities such as camping, hunting, fishing, and observing nature.

Mark will be remembered by his siblings Peggy (Lee) Thurston, Susan Crowder, Deborah (Don) Gearhart, Timothy (Jean) Brown and Jason (Trish Tandle) Brown; several nieces and nephews.

Mark was predeceased by his wife Sharon in 2019.
