Phelps - Lowell Aaron Mostyn Jr, 61, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

The family will greet friends on Friday, January 16th, 2026, from 2 p.m to 4 p.m at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, 124 W Miller Street, Newark, NY 14513. Burial in Bath National Cemetery.

Lowell Mostyn was born on Friday, September 11, 1964, in Rochester, New York, the son of Lowell A. and Clarabelle (Krieger) Mostyn. He attended Newark High School and was a member of the Class of 1983. Following graduation, Lowell enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country for two years. After his military service, he stayed busy working a variety of jobs throughout his life. In his free time, Lowell enjoyed visiting the library, watching movies, attending First Baptist Church, and spending time with his beloved companion, Candyce.

Lowell will be remembered by his companion of many years, Candyce Ketchum; siblings, Michelle (Wayne) Ficarro, Wayne Beaumont, Bruce Beaumont Jr., Leslie Gore, and Nancy; nieces and nephews, Christine Lathrop, William J. Lathrop Jr., Steven (Angie) Rathbone, Kayla (Phillip) Douglas, Crystal (Adam) Martinez and Doug Mostyn; many great nieces and nephews.

Lowell was predeceased by his father, Lowell Aaron Mostyn Sr. in 2015; stepfather Bruce Beaumont; mother, Clarabelle Beaumont; brother, Phillip J. Mostyn; and sister, Roxanne Berrack.
