Lorraine Southgate

Newark - Lorraine Southgate, 70, departed this life on Monday, January 24, 2022.

She is predeceased by her parents Chandler and Alice Southgate. Lorraine is survived by her sister, Carolyn Southgate, of Hobe Sound, Florida and her brother, James (Maryanne) Southgate of Delmar, NY.

Her family wishes to thank the people who cared for her at the Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Service Office in Newark, NY, especially at 101 Cobblestone Terrace. Her family sends special thanks to the persons who cared for her in her final days at Newark Wayne Community Hospital and Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Finally, the family wishes to thank Chaplain Bob Crandal and Father William Morby for spiritual assistance to Lorraine and the family members.

Lorraine's graveside service at Boughton Hill Cemetery will occur in the spring at a date and time to be announced.
