Newark - Larry S. Ressue, 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

Larry was born on Thursday, November 14, 1946, in Newark, NY, the son of the late Stanley and Caroline (Wissie) Ressue. Larry graduated from Newark High School, class of 1964. He attended Monroe Community College, where he earned a degree in engineering. His professional journey led him to a career at Kodak, where he worked diligently for nearly thirty-five years before enjoying retirement.

Larry had many passions, including playing the organ and piano, working on computers, and spending time on his boat. He was also a dedicated member of Woodlane Community Church, where he found great joy in serving others and helping anyone in need. His contributions to the church community were numerous, and he was a lifelong member who touched the lives of many through his work and generosity.

Larry will be remembered by his wife of thirty-six years, Betty; his children Karen (Mike) and David (Nancy); grandsons Nathan, Nicholas, and Noah; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Woodlane Community Church, 5694 Wood Lane, Newark, New York. Larry's memorial service will follow visitation at noon. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
