Newark - Kirk D Kent Sr., 61, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Due to COVID restrictions the family will announce service information for Kirk at a time and place to be determined.

Kirk was born on Wednesday, April 15, 1959 in Rochester, NY. He was a life long volunteer fireman and past member of Henrietta, Newark, and Marbletown fire departments.

Kirk will be remembered by his wife, Stephanie Ross; step-son, Dylan (Lindsay) Raup; step-grandson, Lucas Raup; grandson, CJ Magwood; sister-in-law, Sharon (Jeff) Vanhall; father-in-law, Lewis Ross; loyal companion, Pluto; siblings Kathy Stokes, Mark Kent, Jerry Hurley, Tim Hurley, Rob Kent, Jr.; five children; several grandchildren; and all his tow brothers and sisters from Ricci and Sons Towing.

Kirk was predeceased by his father, Robert D. Kent, Sr., in May of 2018.
