Newark - Kenneth R. Warner, 88, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Kenny's graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Newark Cemetery.

Kenny was born the son of the late Kenneth and Elsie (Zegers) Warner on Thursday, August 9, 1934, in Rochester, NY. He spent his life in the area, attending Palmyra High School. Kenny spent over thirty years at Gannett Newspaper as a printer. Kenny enjoyed bowling in a league with his friends. Kenny and Shirley, married for seventy-one years, loved to travel together and spend time with family.

Kenny will be remembered by his loving wife, Shirley Warner; a son, Terry (Patty) Warner; his grandchildren, Kristin Warner and Marcy (Josh) Woodman; many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Furman; a brother-in-law, Richard Matthys.
