Karen Jean Bedette
Newark - Karen J. Bedette, 73, went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 13, 2021, at F.F. Thomson Hospital.
The family will greet friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Karen's funeral service will follow calling at 2 p.m. Burial in East Newark Cemetery.

Karen was born the daughter of the late Herbert and Ina (Giesy) Bedette on Sunday, May 09, 1948, in Newark, NY. Karen grew up in the area graduating from Newark High School. She retired from Finger Lakes DDSO as an administrative assistant. Karen was a woman of great faith, and she attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Karen enjoyed art, photography, traveling, playing bridge, bowling, social gatherings, eating out, and picnics.
Karen will be remembered by her sister, Linda Tynon; nieces Kelly (Brian) Bequette, Tricia (Jay) Adams; nephew, Andy (Brittany) Tynon; special friends Kathy Delano, Carinne Wolford, Bonnie Smith, Barb DelPriorie and Joann Haskins; godchild, Douglas J. Tusch.
Karen was a friend to many and had many wonderful friends.
