Newark - James A. DeWilde, 50, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, after a brief illness, with his family by his side.

The family will greet friends from 2 - 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark NY 14513.

James was born the son of Andrew DeWilde and Donna (King) Taylor on Sunday, January 31, 1971, in Newark. He grew up in the area and graduated from Midlakes High School. James loved the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed cooking, woodworking, refinishing furniture, camping, racing, and watching television. By far, Jim's children and grandchildren were his greatest loves.

James will be remembered by his loving wife, Mindy DeWilde; children Krystara Goebert, Samantha DeWilde, Danielle (Andrew) Tavalare, Nicole (Jacob) Coene, Kylie DeWilde and Evyn DeWilde; grandchildren Dylan, Brooklyn, Gabriella, Sydney, Bless, Lilliana, and Harper; mother, Donna Taylor; father, Andrew (Sandie) DeWilde; many extended family and friends whom he loved.
