Newark - Irving Porter, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

All are invited to Irving's celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 101 Cobblestone Terrace, Newark, NY 14513. Burial will be in York Settlement Cemetery, Huron, NY.

Irving was born in Sodus, NY, the son of Isaac and Clara Porter. Irving was an avid NY Yankees fan. In his younger years, he loved volunteering at farms, where he enjoyed mowing, cleaning out stalls, and helping with all farm activities. He liked hats, tractors, farm equipment, cars/trucks, and fishing.

Irving will be remembered by his friends and family at the Finger Lakes DDSO.

Irving was predeceased by his parents Isaac Sr. and Clara; his siblings Isaac Jr., Ira and Ivan Porter.
