Newark – Gerry Patterson, 73, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Wilmington, North Carolina.    

In honor of Gerry’s wishes, all service will remain private.

Gerry was born the daughter of Leon and Emma Osborn on Monday, August 9, 1948, in Lyons, NY. Gerry graduated from Clyde-Savannah High School and attended SUNY Geneseo, earning her bachelor’s degree in education. She worked at Mobil Chemical/Berry Plastics until her retirement after thirty-seven years. Gerry enjoyed reading, knitting, and time with her children and grandchildren most of all. 

Gerry will be remembered by her daughter, Ann Patterson, a son Michael (Angela) Patterson; two grandsons Anthony Patterson and Nathaniel Beard; sister, Marie Lawson; and her lifelong friend, Kathleen Bassett.

Gerry was predeceased by her husband, Cherry in 2018; her parents Leon (Emma) Osborn.
