Canandaigua - Gary Zehr, 63, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 9, 2022, at his home.

Gary was born the son of the late Wilson and Ann (Felshaw) Zehr on Wednesday, May 13, 1959, in Constableville, NY. He grew up in the Newark area, graduating from Newark High School. Gary worked for several years at EL-VI Farms. He enjoyed being outside, whether fishing, hunting, or making his maple syrup. Most of all, Gary loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Gary will be remembered by his wife of thirty-four years, Rebecca "Becky"; his children Joshua (Sonya) Neville, Ashley Parr, Brian (Sarah) Walker and Samuel Walker; grandchildren Hailiye, Rilei, Kelsi, Myleigh, Shayleigh, Presley, Cloheey, Joshua Jr., Lohgan, Tessa, Aubree, Sophia and Rebecca; great-grandchild, Robin; siblings Janelle (Al) Plumb, John (Leah) Zehr. Darlene Baker; brother-in-law, Glen Cook; several nieces and nephews.
Gary was predeceased by a sister, Melanie Cook.
