Fredrick W. Norris Sr.

Newark - Fredrick W. Norris Sr., 60, passed on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at F.F Thompson Hospital.

In honor of Fred's wishes, all services will remain private.

Fredrick was born the son of the late Norman J. and Yvonne (Rood) Norris on Wednesday, December 19, 1962, in Newark, NY. He spent his life in the Newark area, attending Newark High School. Recently, Fred moved to Naples, NY, to be nearer to his sister. Fred worked as a truck driver and enjoyed driving. He volunteered as a driver at the crisis center in Clifton Springs. Fred was a fun-loving, easy-going guy, always quick to make a joke or change lyrics to any song. He enjoyed scratch-off lotto tickets, making others laugh, and being around family.

Fredrick will be remembered by his son, Frederick (Michelle) Norris Jr.; a daughter, Adrianne Norris; step-son, Ben Watson; his twelve grandchildren; siblings Elaine (Larry) Opalka, Patricia Mackey, and Norman Norris Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

Fredrick was predeceased by his sister, Theresa Muckey.
