Newark - Corky Ridley at age 94, passed away Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, at Highland Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Corky was survived by son, Kent Ridley; daughter, Melodie (Douglas) Sager; granddaughter, Anna (Joshua) Washburn; grand-pup, Onyx; nephew, Steve (Sally) Ridley, great-nephew, Scott (Eleanor) Ridley, and their son Matthew.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Irene; parents, Mary Alice and Lloyd Ridley; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Vera Ridley.

Corky loved music and especially loved to dance with his wife. He was an army man who loved horses and old cars. If you knew Corky, you knew he was a big joker and loved to make everyone laugh.

Friends and family are invited to call from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, August 13th, 2023, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc. 124 West Miller St, Newark, NY 14513. There will be a burial and Celebration of Life scheduled at a later date at the convenience of the family.
