Edward C. Fuller
Newark - Edward C. Fuller, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Auburn Community Hospital.
Edward was born on January 3, 1947, in Newark, NY, the son of the late Robert and Helen (Brumm) Fuller. A lifelong resident of the community, he attended Newark High School. He worked in construction and later at General Dynamics, where he met his best friend in life, Marjorie Dunham. The two married on April 30, 1970, and built a life centered on family, hard work, and deep devotion.
For more than 25 years, Edward worked as an assembler for A.B. Dick / Itek, earning a reputation for his strong work ethic and steadfast commitment. He later transitioned to maintenance management at The Country Home and eventually became a bus driver for Ontario ARC, retiring in the fall of 2013.
Resourceful and endlessly hardworking, Edward built the family home himself. He took great pride in maintaining his home-always tinkering, repairing, and improving. He had a lifelong passion for cars, especially fast ones, and rarely missed a NASCAR race. His love of barbecue inspired him to run Ed's Country BBQ, where many came to enjoy his delicious chicken and ribs each weekend at The Windmill in Penn Yan.
Edward enjoyed country music, shopping on QVC, and he had a soft spot for animals; the family home was never without the companionship of a trusted dog or a friendly cat. And no matter the time of day, he was never far from a Diet Coke or a fresh cup of coffee.
Above all, Edward cherished his family. His wife, Marjorie, and his daughter, Julie, were his greatest joys and the center of his world. Known for his warm smile and gentle nature, he was soft-spoken, kind, and respected for all he did. He was a man of integrity, approaching each day with a quiet dedication and a big heart.
Edward will be remembered by his daughter, Julie (Tom Netter) Morgan; his grandchildren, Bee and Chase Morgan; and numerous extended family members and friends who loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Edward was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie in 2013; and a brother, Tracy Fuller.
Please join the family at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Park Presbyterian Church, 110 Maple Court, Newark, NY 14513. Private burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.
In memory of Edward, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
