Newark - Earl F. Vroman, 71, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home.

Earl served his country in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Sergeant from 1974 to 1987. Earl was a photojournalist and instructor. He received several medals including, Air Force accommodation, good conduct, national defense service, overseas long tour ribbon, and outstanding unit award.

Earl will be remembered by his stepson, Larry VanWinkle; sister, Jean (Bob) Zuback; sister-in-law, Anne Vroman; brother-in-law, Frank Fragale; stepmother, Sally Vroman; nieces and nephews Aletha (Charlie) Steehler, Christine (Michael) VanDemortel, Mike (Jackie) Zuback, Renee Narby, Andy Simms, Carla (Jeff) Magnano, Paul (Sara) Vroman, Laura (Dave) Carson; several great-nieces and great-nephews known to them as The Great Uncle Earl.

Earl was predeceased by his parents Carl Vroman; and Martha Coon Vroman; siblings Carl Vroman, Jr., Nanci Fragale, Grace (Tom) Simms.
