Newark - Durward "Butch" Charles Tolleson, 78 entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Rochester General Hospital.
Family will greet friends Saturday (April 21) from 1 to 4PM at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark where Military Honors will be observed.

Durward was born the son of the late Orland and Gertrude (Donaldson) Tolleson on Tuesday, March 19, 1940, in Rockville Centre, NY. He was a member of the American Legion in Phelps and had served as past commander, and with the Color Guard. Butch was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Newark and the Newark Mason Lodge Post #83 F. & A.M. He had also served as Master for the Boy Scout troop 138. Butch enjoyed working in his yard (three acres), gardening and hunting. He was very handy with wood working.

Butch will be remembered by his wife, Pauline (Parrett) Tolleson; sons, Thomas Tolleson, James Tolleson Sr. and Richard Tolleson and his fiance Donna Lambe; daughter, Cindi Stauring; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Teena (Tony) Griggs; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Linda VanCleef.
Butch was predeceased by his brother, Thomas E Tolleson and a sister, Nancy.
