Newark - Duane A Kline, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Duane was born on Sunday, August 6, 1944, in Newark, NY, the son of the late Frederick and Edna (Lake) Kline. He grew up in Newark and graduated from Newark High School with the Class of 1963. Duane spent his career at Xerox, working as an assembler and retiring after more than thirty years of dedicated service. He enjoyed camping, collecting antique Matchbox cars, and enjoyed time spent with his family. Duane was also known for his love of coffee - a cup was never far from his hand.

Duane will be remembered by his children, Derrick (Tina) Kline and their three children, Melissa (Rob) Goodermote, and Darrin (Jamie) Kline; his grandchildren, Josh (Darcy), Michael (Grace), Brittany, Caleb (Hailey), Alexis (Brett), Maddie, and Carter; his great-grandchildren Payton, Beau, Jadey, Jhett, Wyatt, Heston, Raelyn, Daisy and Lennox; his brother, James Kline; and many nieces and nephews.

Duane was predeceased by his wife, Diane in 1999 and a sister-in-law, Sue Kline

The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A private graveside service will be held at East Newark Cemetery.
