Delorse, born on January 27, 1932, in Athens, PA, was the daughter of the late Delos and Leola (Benter) Decker. Raised in the area, she graduated from Mynderse Academy in the class of 1951. Following high school, Delorse held positions at Seneca Falls Machine Company, Jackson Perkins, and later served at Newark Developmental Center for sixteen years until her retirement in 1988. Thereafter, she devoted herself to being a full-time grandmother to her grandchildren. Her greatest joys stemmed from cherished moments with family, friends, and most notably, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delorse found immense pleasure in reading, traveling, nurturing her garden, and, above all, in her unwavering faith.

(Samantha Freislich) Veith and Patrick A. (Tara VanParys) Veith; four great-grandchildren, Gage, Austin, Quinn and Reid; nephews Ivan Decker, Daniel Decker, Dennis (Marjorie) Montana; nieces Susan (Peter) Mousseau and Suzanne Montana.
Delorse was predeceased by her husband, Andrew M DeLyser; a brother, Cecil L. Decker; her nephew, Verne Montana; and a son-in-law, James A. Veith.
