Newark - Deborah A Ververs, 61, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
In honor of Deborah's wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at Fairville Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Deborah's life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Community Center, located on Morgans Run at Prestige Park, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489, in memory of Deborah.
Deborah was born on Tuesday, February 4, 1964, in Pequannock, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Ronald and Lillian (Wintjen) Ververs. She spent most of her life in the Newark area and attended Newark High School.
Deborah was known for her love of the simple joys in life-fishing, visiting zoos, exploring garage sales, crafting, and cooking. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, and she shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Bear.
Deborah will be remembered by her long-time partner, Dave Schell; her children, Jason and Chad; her siblings, Ronald L. Ververs, Jr., Ralph Ververs of Utah, Rhonda Wolf, Ruth Brugge of Florida, Thomas Sr. (Susan) Ververs of Florida, and Heather Ververs of Florida; her aunt Marilyn; and many nieces and nephews.
Deborah was predeceased by her son, Brian.
