Seneca Falls - Curtis A. Wright, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

Curtis was born to Johnnie Lee Wright Sr. and Florene (McDonald) Young on Tuesday, September 10, 1968, in Newark, NY. Growing up in the area, he attended Sodus High School. Curtis had a passion for driving, whether driving fast cars or cruising on motorcycles. He was adventurous, often embarking on spontaneous trips, and was known for his strong work ethic. Always the life of the party, Curtis cherished moments spent with family and friends. If he wasn't at home, you could find him on the road, visiting loved ones. He had a nurturing spirit, serving as a mentor to many and sharing the lessons he learned from his own experiences.

Curtis will be remembered by his wife, Brandy; his children Julie Sturiale, Perrell Wright, Ebony Sturiale, Alexiss Westcott, Keala Wright, Aliyah Wright, Anthony Wright, Amari Wright, Shaniqura Bailey, Tyler Liberatore, Markisha Paulk, Erica Liberatore and Kayla Glover; beloved grandchildren Kylie, Arabella, Ainsley, Perrell Jr., Zakari, Ameena, Aubriella, Rocco, Brycen, Tyler Jr., Adalayah, Amora, Ace, Jasoni, Jiavana, Jay'onni and Jaymari; mother, Florene Young; siblings Johnnie L. (Crystal) Wright, Jr., Deborah Dennis, Susan Wright, Irene Carter, Charles Wright and Curtis Moore; many nieces and nephews.

Curtis was predeceased by his father, Johnnie Lee Wright, Sr.

The family will greet friends from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. All other services will remain private.
