Wolcott/Syracuse - Charles R. Larkin, 94, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Syracuse, NY from natural causes.
The family will greet friends from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Charles' funeral service will follow visitation at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will be at North Wolcott Cemetery.

Charles was born on Sunday, November 30, 1930, in Wolcott, NY, the son of the late Ernest and Blanche (Sherman) Larkin. He spent his childhood in the North Wolcott/Wolcott area, attending a schoolhouse in North Wolcott before continuing his education at Wolcott Central Schools. Charles dedicated his career to working on local farms, eventually transitioning to employment at Duffy-Mott, where he worked for several years until his retirement.
Charles will be remembered by his brother, Rev. Daniel (Nancy) Larken of Tidioute, Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie; his sons Richard Larkin and Robert Larkin; his nine brothers and seven sisters.
