Carmond Catania
Batavia/Newark - Carmond Catania, 98, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Friends are invited to attend Carmond's funeral service at noon on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Private burial will be in Newark Cemetery, North Main Street, Newark, NY.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a favorite charity of your own choice in memory of Carmond.
Carmond was born the son of the late John and Pearl B. (Crego) Catania on Monday, March 16, 1925, in Auburn, NY. Carmond worked at Friends for a Day until he retired. Carmond loved music; he played piano and the harmonica.
Carmond will be lovingly remembered by his extended family of advocates, volunteers, caring staff, and friends at the Arc of Wayne and The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Batavia.
