Newark - Bonita Turner, 75, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Her family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 West Miller St., Newark, NY. Bonita's graveside service will follow visitation at Newark Cemetery, North Main Street, Newark, NY. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Fellowship, 503 Murray Street, Newark, NY.

Bonita was born the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha (Soggs) Wage on Friday, May 23, 1947, in Newark, NY. She spent her life in the Newark area, graduating from Newark High School. Bonita enjoyed bowling, stock car racing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Bonita will be remembered by her son, Rev. Kevin J. (Ann) Turner of Cazenovia, NY, grandson, Zackary Turner; granddaughter, Abigail Turner; three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Bonita was predeceased by husband, James Turner, and her five siblings.
