Henreitta - Arlene Mae VanHoute, 99, went home to her Lord and Savior peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Laurel House Comfort Care Home.

Arlene was born on September 8, 1925, in Marion, NY, Arlene was the beloved daughter of her late parents. She enjoyed a long and fulfilling life, retiring from Xerox after a dedicated career. Arlene was an active member of both the Henrietta Moose Club and the Rebekah Lodge.

Arlene found joy in camping, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and celebrating the holidays. She especially treasured the companionship of her beloved dog, Katie, who was always by her side.

She was predeceased by her parents; Ab and Mary DeFisher; her husbands, Welman VanHoute and Warren Tierson; her sons, Douglas (Marylou) VanHoute and Herbert (Catherine) VanHoute; her sister, Connie (Toni) Vinki; her brother, Lester (Patty) DeFisher; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lester and Pat DeFisher; and her granddaughter, Monica Conca.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Ray) Cocca Dugas of Florida; her grandchildren, Kim Puccio, Matthew (Cathy) Cocca, Mark (Nicole) Cocca, Aaron (Jen) Cocca, Stacey (Kenneth Jr.) Anstee, Melody VanHoute, Jeremy VanHoute, James (Brooke) VanHoute, James VanHoute, and Rebecca VanHoute; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her dear friends June Oberdorf and Mary Kay Harley; and many extended family members.

Please join the family at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Marion Cemetery, 3951 Buffalo Street, Marion, NY 14505 for Arlene's graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Arlene to the Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair Street, Newark, NY 14513.
