Newark - Thomas James Bellittera, 70 entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, New York.

Family will greet friends on Saturday (Jan. 19) from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark.

Tom was born the son of the late Vincent and Margaret (Antinarelli) Bellittera on Friday, September 10, 1948 in Rochester, NY. He spent his life in the Seabreeze area of Rochester, moving to Newark eight years ago. Tom was proprietor of Bellittera Tiling and Marble. He loved fishing, playing poker, cooking and eating burnt hot dogs from the grill. Tom had a special love for animals, feeding birds, with seventeen bird houses all around his yard.

Tom will be remembered by his partner, Jill E. Mendel; sons, Vincent Bellittera and Robert Bellittera; step-daughter, Shayla (Mark) Taylor; step-son, Jason Mendel and his fiance, Kim Heuer; six grandchildren; many caring and loving friends; especially Bella and Buddy his cats.

Tom was predeceased by a very good friend and step-father Dang-Dang; special friend that went everywhere with Tom, Mikey his dog.
