To Gail and family,
I am so very sad to hear about Richard. I worked with him at Heritage Christian Services and what a great man he was to know! He was wonderful to the people he supported there and worked with there, he will be missed very much. I will miss his sense of humor especially. He loved his family, that's for sure. So very sorry for your loss. Also, sorry I couldn't make it to his service but I moved out of town. Would have loved to be there.

I am so sorry for your loss! Richard was such a great man, I always looked forward to seeing him on trips to the Adirondacks and at the different work events. Richard always had a smile, it lit the room up, you couldn't help but smile and laugh with him. He will be missed greatly and remembered fondly! It was such a blessing to know him for the time I did. My prayers are with you all!

I am so sorry for your loss. I am so thankful for what a kind and sweet spirited man Mr. Means was. Both of you were so kind and gracious to me in my growing up years at Gates Wesleyan and I am thankful for your steady presence. I am also thankful that you came to my wedding and celebrated with us. You both made an impact on my life. Praying for you as you walk through this new season. May the God of all comfort you and the peace that passes all understanding guard your heart.

Richard was truly a gentle-men, man of God and a great friend. I pray in the weeks and months ahead the family will look back and see one set of footprints and know that God carried. Thank you for your friendship and look forward to seeing you again one day.

Dear Gail and family members, I am so saddened by the passing of Richard. He was truly a great friend and co worker . We started at Heritage working together many years ago and Richard always made working with him fun and humorous. The residents loved him and he always had their best interest at hand. He made the holidays at the home fun and he enjoyed learning to cook ! He was proud of Gail's peanut brittle and always brought some in to share . I have so many memories of taking turns praying , singing and comforting the residents with Richard. . We were all like family when we worked together at Heritage , on the tough days Richard would bring some humor into the picture that always helped us get through the day.
I had the pleasure of always sharing the love of our grandchildren , when we started out neither of us had any so it was so exciting to share engagements, weddings and the birth of our grandchildren . He was so proud of his children and we shared so many of life's blessings. We know he has a place in Heaven and may he rest in peace knowing that we will all be together again. My prayers are with you Gail and the family, Richard will truly be missed by all the lives that he touched .
