Newark - Mary Ann (Fowler) Jones, 78 entered eternal rest on Friday, June 15, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side.
  
Family and friends may attend a Memorial Mass Friday (June 22) at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 401 S. Main St, Newark. Burial will follow in Newark Cemetery, N. Main St, Newark.

Mary Ann was born the daughter of the late Richard and Violet (Wood) Fowler on Sunday, September 10, 1939 in Syracuse, NY. She spent most of her adult life in the Newark area. She worked for Newark Developmental Center as a Therapy Aide retiring after many years. Mary Ann loved to bowl and enjoyed crafts, reading, and was a history buff. Playing cards, pinochle and yahtzee, was a fun time for her. She was a very sweet, loving lady, who only saw the best in people, helping others in need was important to her.
    
Mary Ann will be remembered by her daughters, Elizabeth Bouwens (Chris) , father of Elizabeth children, Frank (Cecile) Bouwens and Joyce Krebbeks; son, David (Kathleen) Jones Jr.; grandchildren, Brian (Crystal) DePauw, Mary Bouwens, Michael (Ashley) Bouwens, Matthew (Gretchen) Bouwens, Ethan Krebbeks, Meghan Bouwens (Michael); great grandchidren, Abigail Bouwens, Alivia Bouwens, Chloe Lubkowski, Morgan Bouwens, Hudson Bouwens and Lincoln Bouwens, Madison and Sabrina Freymeyer; siblings Joan (Bill) Cook, Richard Fowler and Constance (Bill) Adams; several nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Casey.

     Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, David J. Jones Sr. in 2009 and a grandson Kirk Krebbeks in 2002.
