Fairville, NY - Lynn Daniel Weimer, 74, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 10, 2017.

Lynn was born on September 23, 1943, to the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Ledain) Weimer, and raised in Fairville, NY. He graduated from Newark High School and was stationed in Germany while serving with the U.S. Army. He belonged to the American Legion and was a member of the Fairville Volunteer Fire Department for 55 years. Lynn loved living in the country, being outdoors, and visiting with his friends and neighbors. He was a talented craftsman and often could be found cutting firewood and maintaining his property. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana (Ormsbee).

Lynn will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon (DuBois) Weimer; son, Scott (Corinne) Weimer; brothers, Eugene (Lorraine) Weimer and Kevin (Stacey) Weimer; granddaughters, Elizabeth Hickock, Carrie Weimer, Deanna and Joy Cassavino; along with great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday (Nov. 15) from 3 - 7 PM at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark, where a funeral service will be held Thursday (Nov. 16) at 12 PM, prior to burial in Fairville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynn's memory to the Fairville Volunteer Fire Department, Rte 88, Newark, NY 14513.
