Rochester – Lawrence “Larry” Lee Lorraine, 72 has gone to be in heaven after a sudden and brief illness on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Rochester General Hospital.

     Larry was born to the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Gertrude (Cahoon) Lorraine on Thursday, May 2, 1946 in Rochester, NY. As a child he grew up in the city of Rochester and returned back to his stomping grounds until his passing. Larry had a great love for his Savior and living a Christian life.  Family was a very important part of Larry’s life and he would do everything he could for those he loved, dear and close, even if it was the simplest thing of making them laugh with his joking sense of humor everyone knew all so well of him. Larry loved the outdoors and cars, especially Muscle "Hot" Rods.....the all time favorite, a 1966 convertible Pontiac GTO. As well enjoyed antique cars, working on and rebuilding cars at his leisure, playing cards, riding motorcycle, ATV’s, snowmobiles, dune buggies, hunting, guns, watching old western movies, yard work and traveling.

     Over the years he was a partner in a gas station that included car repairs & snow plowing called “Lorraine’s Atlantic” in the 60’s and 70’s.  He moved to California and partnered with his brother in a vending machine business called T.A.B. Vending during the 70's. Larry had also, worked for Foster Wheeler in Dansville, NY during 80's. And finally, he owned and operated P.T.L. Auto Sales & Service and another one later named, P & L Auto Sales during the 80's through early 2000's.

     Larry will be remembered by his wife, Pamela (Farnsworth) Lorraine; daughter, Victoria “Vicki” Lee Lorraine; children, Charles “Charlie” (Mary) Mills, Hugh Mills, Lester Mills, Lisa (Rick) Steinmetz and Mark Nassivera; Granddog Precious Maggie Lorraine; grandchildren, Charles Mills, Cassandra (Chase) Lockhart, Nicole (Louis) Callerame, Tara (Macho) Lagares, Jason Lorraine, Mark Nassivera, Leah (Kyle) Belsher and Cody Nassivera; great grandchildren, Haley and Hanna Callerame, Bradyn, Jacob and Mavrick Lagares, Emma, Samantha, Madelyn and Christopher Lockhart; siblings, Suzanne “Sue” (Jim) Cammilleri, Patricia “Patty” Herle, Mary Ann Lorraine, Stephen “Steve” Lorraine, Kathleen “Kay” Lorraine, Dennis “Denny” (Eleanor) Lorraine, Peter “Pete” Lorraine, Samuel “Sam” (Donna) Lorraine and Jessica “Jess” Lorraine; half siblings, Richard “Dick” Cahoon and Gretchen Tierson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Liz Lorraine, Cinda Moore, Sue (Randsom) Guild, Tom (Vicki) Moore, Denise (Chuck) LaPlant, Paul (Janet) Farnsworth and Richard (Martha g) Farnsworth; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

     Larry was predeceased by his first wife, Carol (Moore) Lorraine in 1990; son, Lawrence “Little Larry” Lorraine in 1983; granddog Sir Maverick Lorraine in 2016, step-son James Mills in 1970; siblings, Joseph “Joe” Lorraine Jr. in 2017 and Theodore “Ted” Lorraine in 2016; half siblings, Robert “Bob” Lorraine, Jim Lorraine and Ruby (Breck) Brigance; brothers-in-law, Gerald Moore in 1994 and Michael Farnsworth; sisters-in-law Linda Becher in 2011, and Patricia Pike; half sibling brother-in-law Jake Tierson; half sibling sister-in-law Lisa Cahoon.

     The honor of your presence is requested to celebrate the life & cherish the memories of Lawrence Lorraine on Sunday, October 7, 2018, (12:00 P.M. til park closes) 2 P.M. service at Hamlin Beach State Park, 1 Hamlin Beach Blvd., Hamlin, N.Y. 14464, Pavilion/Shelter #1. Will be a $6 per car entrance fee to the park.
