Newark - Kurt Richard Siler, 61, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Family will greet friends Saturday (Sept. 14th) from 11 AM - 1 PM at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. A graveside service will follow visitation at Newark Cemetery.

Kurt was born the son of Richard and Delores (Cauwels) Siler on Saturday, June 28, 1958, in Rochester, NY. Kurt was a gifted mechanic, rebuilding his first engine at the age of eight. He had an extraordinary ability to diagnose cars and repair them. Kurt enjoyed anything with an engine and driving them fast.

Kurt will be remembered by his daughters Erin (Darrell Williams) Siler, Angela DeCook and Anna Skeels; son, Kurt Siler, Jr.; step-children Clara, Michaela, Sage, Carzell and Omri; grandchildren Merissa, Darrin Jaden, Dante, Jeremy Jr., Amari, Mackenzie, Arianna, Kyla and Kairi; sister, Pam (Craig) Gotham; mother, Delores Siler.

Kurt was predeceased by his father, Richard Siler.
