   Newark – Kristin Ann (Jayne) Vanderwege, 41 entered eternal rest Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital ER with her family by her side.
   
   Family will greet friends Sunday (June 25) from 3 to 6 p.m. at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St. Newark. A Funeral Service will be Monday (June 26) at 11 a.m. at Park Presbyterian Church, Maple Court, Newark. Burial will follow in East Newark Cemetery.

   Kristin was born the daughter of Ronald Jayne and Deborah Tilburg on Friday, December 19, 1975 in Newark, NY. She was a graduate of Newark High School Class of 1994. Also, was a graduate of Monroe Community College Class of 1996. Kristin had worked as a bartender at the Palmyra Bowling Alley in Palmyra. Before her health problems she worked for Wayne County Dispatch Center for 10 years.
   
   Kristin was named Wayne County Fair Queen in 1994. As a teenager and through high school Kristin worked with her dad installing new roofs. She was a past member of the Newark and Marion Volunteer Ambulance as a EMT. Kristin was the first woman to become a member of the Newark Elks Lodge BPOE 1249. She enjoyed helping her daughter as she competed in beauty pageants. She also, enjoyed camping with her children and family and sitting by a good campfire.
   
   Kristin will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Ashley; son, Zak; mother, Debbie Jayne and her friend Erik Katankas; father, Ronald (Yvonne) Jayne; sister, Jennifer Jayne; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Tilburg; father of her children Jeff Vanderwege; niece, Azraela; nephew, Connor; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
   
   Kristin was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Gene Tilburg; paternal grandparents Wilford and Joyce Jayne.
