Dolores A. Brooks
Palmyra - Dolores Ann Brooks, 81 entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 23, 2018, in the ER of Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Family will greet friends Friday, December 28, 2018, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Burial will be in Port Gibson Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Dolores was born the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary (Allen) Marriott on Monday, February 01, 1937, in Newark, NY. Over the years she attended the Port Gibson United Methodist Church. Dolores retired from Xerox Corporation in Webster where she worked on the assembly line. She was an artist and enjoyed drawing with pencil or crayons. She also enjoyed crafts and making doll clothes. Dolores loved to watch Hallmark movies, Family Feud, and shopping.
Dolores will be remembered by her son, Douglas A. Brooks and his friend Kym Ross of Palmyra; sister, Elaine Cowley of Newark; brother, Joseph Marriott of Florida; brothers-in-law, Lentz Bates of NC, Daniel (Sharon) Brooks of Marion and Dennis (Pam) Brooks of Sodus; many nieces and nephews; very good companions, Alla, Daisy and Bella, her cats.
Dolores was predeceased by husband, Donald Brooks in June 17, 2005; two sisters, Linda Canne and Melba Bates; brother-in-law Al Cowley.
