Day, Diane L.
Richmond, VA formerly of Rochester, NY: Diane L. Day, 70, entered eternal rest on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Fulfilling Diane’s wishes there will be no prior calling hours or funeral services. A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2019 in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Diane was born the daughter of the late Frank and Rita (Dodge) Benson on Saturday, April 3, 1948 in Rochester, NY. She was a graduate of John Marshall High School class of 1966. In 1970, Diane received her bachelor’s degree in arts from Pots Dam College. She volunteered for a year on a former Navy hospital ship, operated by Project HOPE. Diane settled in Richmond, Virginia where she established herself as an artist. She loved to travel and visit museums.
Diane will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
