Barbara J. (Bardo) Muller

Newark – Barbara Jean Muller, 81 went home to her heavenly Father on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Family will greet friends Monday (July 23) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 West Miller Street, Newark. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in East Newark Cemetery.

Barb was born the daughter of the late Clayton and Martha (Garbbatin) Bardo on Friday, May 7, 1937 in Waterloo, New York. She was a graduate of Waterloo High School class of 1956. For many years Barb worked for Zotos International, Inc. in Geneva on the production area. Barb was past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Waterloo. She had also volunteered with the Explorers, she enjoyed working and helping the children. Family and grandchildren were the most important thing in her life. Barb was known for being a great cook.

Barb will be always remembered by her companion of 38 years, Hector Hernandez; son, John (Carol) Muller; daughters, Kathy Hernandez, Wende Muller, Kym (Roberto) Santiago, Penny (Luies) Muller-Rosa, Tammy (William) Croll and Lisa Alicea; 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Bardo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barb was predeceased by her granddaughter, Melanie Santiago, great granddaughter, Angel Jones and sister, Helen Bardo.
