Rochester - Ryan P. Mills, 41, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Please join the family at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Port Gibson Cemetery. Ryan's celebration of life will follow his graveside service.

Ryan, born on Tuesday, March 23, 1982, in Newark, NY, was the son of James and Mary (Taggerty) Mills. Growing up in the vicinity, he attended Newark Central Schools. Ryan found joy in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, swimming, and motorcycle riding. Above all, he cherished moments spent with his family.

Ryan will be remembered by his father, James (Debria) Mills; his mother, Mary (Rick) Perkins; one sister, Kelly Mills; step-sisters, Caprice (Richard) DuPont, Melissa Hargett and Jackie Perkins; step-brothers, Joshua (Virginia) Jackson, Justin Rotach; a niece, Samantha (John) Mandabach; and many other nieces, nephews, step-nieces and step-nephews.

Ryan was predeceased by his a brother, James "Jimbo" Mills; his sister, Stacy Mills; paternal grandparents, William and Marilyn Mills; and maternal grandmother, Kathleen Rodrigues and maternal grandfather, Theodore Taggerty.
