Marilyn M. Aulenbacher

Newark/Palmyra - Marilyn M. Aulenbacher, 91 died peacefully Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Newark Manor Nursing Home.

All services will be private. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park.

Marilyn was born the daughter of the late William and Grace (King) Aulenbacher on July 16, 1918 in Rochester, NY. She graduated from East High School in 1936. For many years she owned and managed shoes stores in Palmyra and Sodus. Marilyn loved spending time with her family and traveling.

Marilyn will be remembered by her sister and brother-in-law Doris and Charles "Mahlon" Knapp of Florida; niece Lauren (Jose) Knapp-Saavedra of Florida; many cousins in the Rochester area.

Marilyn was predeceased by her son William Clark.

I love you, Aunt Marilyn. I hope you have your beautiful blue-black hair once again and are driving around Heaven in the most over-the-top Ford convertible just the way you used to. When I think of you, I feel good about myself and feel great to know that you are my Aunt. Love, Laurie

Dear Doris, I was sorry to read of Marilyn's death. It's been many years since we've seen one another, but I always remember Marilyn happy and smiling. I'm sure she will be missed. Love, Geraldine
