Timothy Philip Lewis

Canandaigua/Lyons – Timothy Philip Lewis, 68 entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

     There will be no prior calling hours or funeral services. A Graveside Service will be in Newark Cemetery on Monday (Feb. 27) at 11 a.m.

     In memory of Tim, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a charity of choice.

     Tim was born the son of the late Richard and Genevieve (VanBoven) Lewis on Monday, January 10, 1949 in Newark, NY.

 He graduated from Newark High School and then received a Bachelor’s. Tim was, for several years a reporter for a newspaper in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He enjoyed writing articles on many subjects. Tim was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church in Newark.

     Tim will be remembered by his sons David (Amy) and Jonathan (Lisa) Lewis both of Florida; grandchildren; brother John Lewis of Texas; nieces and nephews.

     Tim was predeceased by his sister-in-law Mary Lewis in 2009.
