Farmington/Newark - Sang Franchuk, 69 entered eternal rest on Monday, March 19, 2018, at the DeMay Living Center.
A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Auditorium Center, 875 East Main Street, 5th Floor, Rochester. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY. In memory of Sang, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a charity of choice.
Sang was born the daughter of the late Lee, Kung Soo and Song, Kum Chul on Wednesday, March 2, 1949 in Seoul, South Korea. She married a U.S. soldier and came to the United States when he finished his tour in Korea. She loved being able to stay home and raise her children. Sang loved music and art. She particularly enjoyed drawing and sketching.
Sang will be remembered by her daughter, Vera (Aaron) Maslow; sons, Bill (Tammy) Franchuk and Nick (Becky) Franchuk; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Jook Jeon and Sang Yup Ficicchia.
Sang was predeceased by husband, Peter Franchuk in 2014.
