Michael Lester Brewer

Rochester - Michael Lester Brewer, 70 entered eternal rest on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Family will greet friends at Community Gospel Church, 5 Browns Avenue, Scottsville, NY (the Masonic Temple Building) on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 5:30 PM with a memorial service immediately following at 6:00 PM.  Burial will be in Grove Place Cemetery in the spring.

Michael was born the son of the late Richard and Eileen Brewer on Tuesday, July 1, 1947, in Chili, NY.  He spent his life in the Webster area, graduating from Webster High School class of 1965. He first worked as a meat cutter for several years and then for Monroe County Weights & Measures Department for 20 years. He was a licensed security guard. Mike became an EMT and worked in the Monroe County area. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed target shooting.   

Michael will be remembered by his sons, Michael (Rae) Brewer and Ray (Amy) Brewer; grandchildren Ariana, Sam and Katlyn Brewer; four siblings, several nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Betty Graham.  Michael was predeceased by his wife, Jean Graham in 2008.
